Having had only sporadic rain for the last 4 years we were delighted when the rain eventually arrived at the beginning of November, it came slowly giving the grass a bit of time to soak up the water and then it began to pour – all our dams are full, wild flowers cover the hillsides, the grass is the most excessive green in colour which we are not really used to. So we are happy on Borana the cattle should grow fat and happy along with the multitude of wild animals that have made Borana their home.
