BORANA
We have made efforts to fence and irrigate land on the eastern boundary of the Ranch that borders the Ngare Ndare River. The irrigation of this land has allowed us to organically grow herbs and spices for the production of dried herbs and essential oils.
Some of the dried herbs go to Europe for their culinary and medicinal purposes, but the essential oils are put into the hand-made soaps, bath oils, lotions and shampoo that are in the guest bathrooms at both Borana and Laragai.
